About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Graphic Designer to lead our technical communication design efforts. The ideal candidate will combine exceptional creative skills with experience in producing high-quality graphics for technical documents, illustrations, infographics, storyboarding, and other visual communication assets.

This is an on-site role based in Navi Mumbai, suitable for professionals looking for a dynamic environment where technical precision and creativity intersect.

Key Responsibilities

• Graphic Design: Develop high-quality graphics, illustrations, diagrams, charts, and other visual elements to accompany technical documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity of information.
• Collaboration: Work closely with technical writers, subject matter experts, and product managers to understand document or product requirements, provide design recommendations, and ensure alignment between visuals and content.
• Conceptualization: Translate complex technical concepts and information into visually engaging and easy-to-understand graphics and illustrations, maintaining consistency with brand guidelines and design standards.
• Storyboarding and Wireframing: Create storyboards, wireframes, and mock-ups to visualize design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders before finalizing visual assets.
• Image Editing and Enhancement: Edit and enhance photographs, screenshots, and other images to improve quality, resolution, and overall visual appeal as needed for technical documents.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and QA checks of visual assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design specifications and project requirements.
• Documentation and Version Control: Maintain organized files, documentation, and version control systems for all design assets, facilitating easy access and efficient collaboration among team members.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in graphic design and technical communication, and proactively seek opportunities to enhance the team’s design processes and capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic design roles.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work in technical documentation or related visual communication fields.
• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with diagramming and wireframing tools.
• Solid grasp of color theory, typography, and design principles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Experience in a technical or scientific domain preferred.
